Congratulations to the team of students from St. Gerald's College Castlebar who have won a top award and also come second in their category at the 2012 BT Young Scientist competition held in the RDS from Jan 11th to 14th.

The team consisted of three 5th Yr students Donnchadh Barry, Luke Benson and Paul Mc Donagh assisted by their teacher, Declan Askin.

Their project was titled 'iCollapse: A mobile phone application for assisting people suffering from condition that may cause collapse'. Further info on the project, including explanatory video etc, can be found on their team website http://teamsapireland.com/
