Continuing Professional Developoment is highly valued in Le Chéile Schools and we will be happy to let our teachers know about suitable and relevant courses that are brought to our attention. Recently we have received communication about the following: Post-Graduate Diploma in School Planning: This one-year SDPI course, accredited by NUI Galway, will be on offer in 2010/11 under the auspices of the Professional Development Service for Teachers. Registration fee: €775. The course brochure and application forms are available for download from the SDPI website—www.sdpi.ie. The closing date for applications is Friday 1 October, but early application is advisable as the number of places available is strictly limited. This is the final year of the DES subsidy for the course.
